Job Requirements:
• Junior/Mid-Level Developer:
- Part of team that designed, develop, and support automated
trading systems and Exchange/ECN connectivity.
- Ability to communicate via producing documentation at all levels,
client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest
in further developing and integrating Trading systems knowledge with
technology skills.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in supervising and executing
all phases of the technology life cycle, based on proven project management
and testing methodologies.
• Technical skills:
- Must be solid and strong in C++. 1-2 year’s experience in C++/C
on Linux/Unix.
- Experience in low latency programming (shared memory, lockless
queues, etc) and Linux kernel.
- Must have strong experience in:
. Building libraries and server side components.
. STL, Boost libraries, etc
- Working experience of one of the Linux/Unix scripts. Perl, bash,
and etc.
- Good knowledge of technical architecture design and a good
understanding of technology tools and components to reasonably argue for and
against all components (middleware, database, reporting tools, etc.) in
that architecture.
• Business Knowledge:
- Familiar with US and International Equity markets.
- Able to translate business requirements into technical
specifications.
Education:
B.S./B.A. degrees in Computer Science, or a Masters degree in Computer
Science (preferred).
