Role: SDE with some SDET
Duration: 12 months
The Machine Translation team in Microsoft Research is in need of a developer
to maintain and extend our current training and runtime evaluation workflow
systems for Machine Translation and Speech-to-Speech. A successful
candidate will be able to understand our overall workflows and how each
component interacts and is measured. They should be able to debug into
unfamiliar code to troubleshoot issues. They should be able to work with
the team to bring new components online quickly or to add support for new
exploratory experiments. This position will require close collaboration
between the developers and managers, so the candidate must work well in a
team environment.
Required Qualifications:
• C# - 5+ years experience
• SQL Server – 3+ years
• Strong design, implementation and debugging skills
Additional Desired Qualifications:
• Good familiarity of the .NET framework libraries
• Experience with LINQ
