Title: Senior Database Developer
Job Description:
• Analyze business requirements and develop data integration and BI
/Reporting technical solution to meet the requirements.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement the technical
solutions throughout the SDLC within expected delivery dates.
• Create detailed design document, test plans and test scripts
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Always conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as
defined.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in developing database
and BI and reporting solutions.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical development concepts is preferred
• Understanding of relational database design and development life
cycle principles required
• Desire to stay abreast of new development tools and methods
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in an agile and multi-
tasking environment
Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
is preferred
• Advanced skills in Oracle, SQL Server development and management
including PL/SQL, T-SQL, Oracle SQL Loader is preferred
• Strong Data Integration experiences in some of the top ETL and
Data Virtualization Tools such as Informatica Power Center, Informatica Data
Services, Denodo, Oracle Data Integrator and Oracle Golden Gate etc.
• Experience in big data, Hadoop, AWS and SAP Hana is plus.
• Solid development experience in Data Warehouse is required
• Extensive development experience in some of the top BI/reporting
and Analytics and Data Visualization solutions such as SSRS, SAP
BusinessObjects and Tableau is required.
• Experience with MS Query and VBA development in Microsoft Excel,
with integration with SharePoint is required.
• Experience in Data Migration is required.
• Advanced understanding of Relational and Dimensional modeling is
required.
• Advanced understanding of performance tuning is required.
• UNIX and Shell Scripting are required.
Contract Job, Start date ASAP and until Dec 2015 with possible extension.
