Job description
Are you a technical person looking for a way to leverage your technical
knowledge in new strategic and creative directions? Do you enjoy the
challenge of working and communicating with a wide variety of people? We are
looking for a few strongly technical people to bring deep subject matter
expertise and creative, “big picture” approach to our patent team to help
us build the intellectual property portfolio that InnoPeak Technology needs
for now and the future.
The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of mobile communication
technology, which includes but is not limited to LTE, memory, WiFi,
Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, power management, audio and video module, camera, etc.
He/she will have an interest and curiosity to understand technology and the
ever-evolving market competitive landscape. In this role, you will work with
in-house and outside technical teams, legal attorneys and business
executives to support patent acquisition, licensing and technology
development.
Exemplary responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
-Researching and identifying essential patents in the field of mobile
communication technology
-Supporting patent acquisition and licensing negotiation
-Interfacing with legal, analyzing on patent portfolios that InnoPeak
Technology is evaluating for acquisition to inform its potential value
-Supporting the development of InnoPeak’s overall patent/IP strategy

Desired Skills and Experience
-3-5 years of experiences in one or more of the following technical areas:
--Cellular baseband/LTE/Application Processor/ memory/WiFi/Bluetooth/GPS/NFC
/power management/audio/video/camera
-A degree in Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Physics or
significant work experience in software or hardware development
-Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication
-Demonstrated ability to partner on projects with others from different
functions (easy to work with)
-Integrity is an absolute must
Extra credit:
-Experience in patent analysis and/or supporting patent acquisition/
licensing activities is a plus but not required
-Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
