R & D Director (China Based)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create the strategic direction of R&D.
- Guide, direct, and motivate employees as well as implement new
procedures, policies, and programs.
- Responsibilities also include: managing scientific operations,
directing standardized quantitative laboratory analyses, writing technical
papers and proposal grants.
- Creative thinking is required.
- Direct maintaining and enhancing of scientific standards and product
development.
- Lead and ensure that our business is carried out in accordance with our
values and vision.
- Lead, coordinate, and oversee method development and ensure all testing
is accurate.
- Promote and facilitate leading edge research
- Create and maintain an environment that is conducive to intellect and
research growth.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, training, and knowledge shared with all
levels of the organization demonstrating the use and practice of good
manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and tools
for striving towards improvement.
- Provides input on government regulations that will impact the company,
products, and business.
Requirements:
• M.D. or Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Immunology, or Chemistry with more
than 10 years working experience in US.
• More than 5 years experience with IVD.
• Familiar with IPD (Integrated Project Development).
• Experience with R&D team management and grant applications.
• Familiar with GICA qualitative and quantitative techniques,
Fluorescence Immunochromatography Technology, Liquid Phase Chemiluminescence
Immunoassay Technology, Electrochemical Detection Technology, Continuous
Glucose Monitoring Technology, and Microfluidic Chip Technology.
• Experience with blood lipids for cardiovascular disease,
myocardial markers, glucose for diabetes, HbA1c, and other indicators.
• Experience testing ICU / emergency blood gases, blood lactate,
and electrolytes. |
