Graphics Development Engineer (753451)
Description – Internal/external:
In this position, you will be joining the Intel PEG's VPG Simulator team (
Fulsim) responsible for hardware modeling of graphics projects. We design
and develop C++ pipelines that model 3D/Display/Media technology and new
algorithms used in Intel's chips. You will work on spec definition and
algorithm development (along with architects, micro-architects, and Design
Engineers), own the software design and validation (units and tools), and
support RTL validation. This model is the primary reference for graphics and
media hardware validation, both pre and post-silicon, and it's also used by
the graphics driver team for driver debug and development.
You should have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and
problem solving skills. A self-starter with good planning and the ability to
work effectively both independently and in a team. You will be heavily
involved with the early modeling and simulation required to produce our
world-class SoC products
Qualifications – Internal/External:
Minimum Qualifications - Candidate should have Bachelor's or/and Master's
degree or/and PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering,
Computer Science, or related field. And at least five years of relevant
experience and knowledge for following areas:
-Excellent C/C++ coding and debugging skills
-Good understanding on data structures and algorithms
-Working knowledge of computer system architectures and HW/SW interface
layers
-Relevant experience in graphics modeling, simulation, and validation
-Knowledge of OpenGL, DirectX, OpenCL and Graphics pipeline
-Proficient English Communication with strong written and verbal
communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. A self-starter
with good planning and the ability to work effectively both independently
and in a team. You will be heavily involved with the early modeling and
simulation required to produce our world-class SoC products
A plus is:
-Python, Ruby or Perl scripting Languages
-Code Collaborator Tools
-Experience with version control tools and flows ((SVN, CVN) and Code
Collaboration Tools
-Good understanding of SW development process and best practices. |
