available at Shanghai Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co. Ltd.
Responsibility:
- Design and perform research to advance cancer immunotherapy drug discovery
programs. Provide hands-on experimental support.
- Develop and perform in vitro immunoassays including primary lymphocyte
cultures, tumor-lymphocyte co-cultures, etc.
- Establish and run ex vivo tumor models.
- Stay abreast of latest scientific and technology advancements in the field.
- Attend team meetings and deliver clear and well prepared presentations. Be
an active participant in discussions.
-Ability to grow into a manager role and supervise junior research
associates
- Contribute to a culture that embraces continuous learning and development
of technical skill base and disease biology expertise.
Qualifications:
- PhD with 2+ years post doctoral training, in Immunology, Cancer Biology,
or comparable biological science with an immunology related focus. Industry
experience understanding cancer immunotherapy drug discovery is a plus.
Training in a lab focused on cancer immunotherapy or immunology highly
preferred. Experience with T cell therapeutics particularly relevant.
- Broad knowledge of cellular and molecular immunology. Some experience with
cancer biology a plus. Working knowledge of the field of cancer
immunotherapy.
- Extensive hands on experience in basic immunology in vitro techniques
including flow cytometry, cytokine analysis, cytotoxicity and proliferation
assays, etc.
- Proficiency in DNA and RNA assays, molecular cloning, protein immunoassay
technologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of software tools to support data
analysis tasks
(e.g., Prism, FlowJo)
- Track record of publications and innovation. Ability to design and deliver
novel solutions to challenging problems. Possess a pro-active attitude and
strong desire to discover novel biology and potential new drugs
- Strong oral presentation and communication skills
