Opening for a Project Engineer who understands mechanical / machine design
principles and has experience with troubleshooting and upgrading large,
commercial ovens and the associated control systems. The Project Engineer
musts have experience with thermal processes, process pipping system, and
reading wire diagrams. Travel is approximately 50% including weekend and
Holidays.
Responsibilities for the Project Engineer:
- Mechanical, electrical, and thermal design of commercial over and control
systems.
- Sizing and specification of systems components to provide a complete pipe
heating system. This includes transformer selection, control panel
configuration, and (BOM) bill of materials and some PLC programming. (
ideally)
- Develop detailed mechanical and electrical scopes of work.
-Responsible for project management, field commissioning, and customer
system training.
-Support proposal development to meet customer specification and needs
including related costing.
Requirements for the Project Engineer:
-> BS Degree (preferred) in mechanical or electrical engineering but
equivalent work experience will be considered.
-> 3-5 years of project work experience in process or manufacturing
engineering.
-> Understanding and experience with industrial mechanical machine systems,
thermal processes, process piping systems for design and application, and
industrial control electrical engineering.
