myDevices, an Internet of Things (IoT) solutions company, develops end-to-
end platforms and applications for the Internet of Things that “simplify
the connected world.” myDevices’ products empower engineers and enterprise
partners to easily and quickly deploy IoT prototypes and complete IoT
solutions. myDevices is the creator of Cayenne, the world’s first drag-and-
drop IoT Project Builder, which enables customers to bring their IoT
projects from prototype to mass production.
myDevices is looking for an exceptional Full Stack Engineer that can develop
frontend and backend applications. Our ideal candidate can hop on easily
from a modern Javascript UI to the backend server code.
The individual in this role will interface with developers in the US and
China and should be fluent in both conversational and technical English and
Mandarin. The ideal candidate will be available to work a schedule
overlapping with business hours in China, as necessary based on project
requirements. This individual will be able to work remotely, but will be
required to come in to our Burbank office for technical meetings, project
updates and client meetings as required.

Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science
Minimum of 5 years experience in software development
Experience in both web and serverside development
Strong skills on software and architecture design patterns
Knowledge on data structures and algorithms
Experience building custom Javascript applications with one of the following
frameworks (Angular or React)
Experience building RESTful API
Ability to work independently on complex projects
Fluent in both English and Mandarin
Bonus Qualification:
Knowledge of big data analytics and stream processing (Hadoop, Storm, Spark,
Samsa, etc.)
Familiarity with MQTT, CoAP, LoRa
Experience with at least one of these data messaging stream (Kafka, Flume,
Kinesis, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ)
Past experience with cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Raskspace, etc.)
