Multiple Ph.D. Positions are open now for Fall 2018 at the University of
Texas at Arlington, Center on Stochastic Modeling, Optimization, &
Statistics (COSMOS), at the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, &
Systems Engineering (IMSE). The selected candidates will work with Dr.
Shouyi Wang with full financial support. The research areas will be focused
on Data Sciences, Machine Learning, Deep Learning & Artificial Intelligence
Technologies, and Biomedical Informatics. Dr. Wang’s current research
collaborators include Apple, Foxconn International, IBM, Facebook/Oculus,
Samsung/Harman AI Group, and NVIDIA.
Visiting Students and Visiting Scholar Positions are also available in the

Position Information: Currently we are actively looking for qualified Ph.D.
students who will start in Fall 2018 (or Spring 2019). Graduate students
with strong quantitative background and programming skills are encouraged to
apply. The Ph.D. research directions will be focused on Data Sciences,
Machine Learning, and AI-driven technologies with cross-disciplinary
applications in healthcare, robotics, manufacturing, and business. If you
