As a paid part-time employee for U1st Academy, you’ll be an advocate for
our online platform that pledges to help students across all levels and all
fields with online classes, tutorials and professional help. You will
distribute through implementing digital and in-person marketing strategies.
You’ll act professionally, courteously and respectfully while you promote
to 30 people per hour month in your college town and on campus, as well as
one-off promotions as they arise.
You may choose to forgo payment and earn internship credit for this role
during the summer.
Responsibilities
Create and drive awareness of our platform by liaising with and building
relationships with people in areas you can reach.
Maintain a local Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram account that promotes the
platform
Research & attend local and campus events that will best facilitate the
promotion of our platform
Research appropriate online sites, forums, networks for the target market
Hang posters on campus
Hand out promotional tools and get feedback
Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in a 4 year university with a minimum of 1
semester left
Must be able to manage your own hours and be accountable for the work
assigned to you
Availability of at least 10 hours a week
A deep interest in the music IT & marketing
An active presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
Well-written and well-spoken
Friendly, polite, persuasive and determined
