Biomechanics of tissue morphogenesis：
One of the major efforts will be to measure and apply forces to cells and
tissues isolated from developing frog embryos to understand how cell motility
and tissue architecture are integrated. There is a strong bioengineering
aspect to this work in constructing and applying novel technologies at
cellular and tissue scales and working with computer simulations of the
