It is like dice war, but with people.
For new players:
You may often see people saying: flag red, flag blue, flag teal, etc. That means "I surrender, please do not attack me". Then the other guy can chose to accept(often) or not(rarely). Making no response is regarded noobish. On the lower right there is a check box, that is the real flag, meaning you are willing to accept the Nth position.
You may find this game to be quite "political".
