home.
Instead, he got a ride to the Cobb County jail.
Reshonte Rodrecus Ross remained Monday night in jail, where he was being
held on $1,000 bond more than a week after his arrest, booking records show.
At 2:30 a.m. Jan. 26, Ross allegedly called 911 repeatedly, according to an
arrest warrant obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Said accused
wanted police to give him a ride but was informed several times that police
would not respond for such requests,” the warrant states.
On the fifth call, Ross had a different reason for needing help, according
to the warrant. He allegedly claimed he was having a medical emergency.“
An ambulance, ambulance supervisor, fire truck, and two police units
responded to the scene in response to said accused’s medical claim,” the
warrant states. “Said accused then informed affiant that he did not have a
medical complaint but just wanted a ride to Atlanta.”
Ross was arrested by a Marietta police officer and charged with unlawful
conduct during a 911 call. |
