On Saturday, a customer the blog Consumerist identified only as “Andrew”
allegedly ordered a massive, 60-espresso-shot 128-ounce milkshake, which
would have cost an astounding $54.75. (That’s one way to get brain freeze.)
Luckily for Andrew, he’s a “Gold” member of Starbucks’ loyalty program,
which snags him one free drink for every dozen he buys. Unfortunately for
Starbucks, the chain didn’t stipulate how large or expensive the drink can
be. And Andrew, inspired by a 2013 YouTube video featuring the previous
record holder for most-expensive-Starbucks-order of $47.30, took advantage;
this behemoth was his “gimme.” | H********g
