Ten postdoctoral scientist positions are available in the Lab of Dr. Zhiming
Cai. Our lab is part of Shenzhen University 1st affiliated hospital and is
located in Shenzhen China. We published a lot of papers on top level
journals including: Cell, Nature, Nature genetics, Nature biotechnology,
Science transnational medicine, Cell research, European Urology.
We do research about xenotransplantation with the goal to get new donor
organs. The current focus is on the molecular mechanisms of immunorejection
and immune tolerance between pig and human. We plan to use gene editing
methods including Crispr-cas9 to edit immunorejection genes.
We are currently looking for a Postdoc with a broad background in human
molecular immunology, cell biology and bioinformatics. The successful
candidate will have an interest in translational research and will be hard
working, of impeccable integrity, have excellent past training and be able
to learn new methods and procedures quickly.
