很多epoxy的粘合剂已经往里面加glass fiber，也算是个福音。以前，老汉都得自己一
边和epoxy，一边往里面手工加。这样混合出来的，这一行的黑话叫peanut butter，用
来填缝角，结构力量比epoxy大。
不过，这些Fiberglass都是从batt，mat, wool, cloth上扯下来的，大家都知道，这玩
意儿沾皮肤上很痒，而且不容易除掉，如果预先就混合好，就少很多皮肉之苦。 |

never heard back from them. I used the 1" roll and it seemed to be partially
cured as soon as I opened it up - but the package expiration date is 18
months in the future. It isn't pliable, it isn't sticky, it didn't work. It
was very hard to unroll and it wasn't sticky. I used the gloves but didn't
need them - resin didn't rub off, it was already hard. I'm disappointed they
didn't at least acknowledge my email and oh yeah, I'm out $22. Don't waste
your money

Buyer beware. I bought this in a local hardware store because I needed to do
about a 4 inch flat waterproof repair. There was no indication on the
packaging that once I opened the pack it would be all or nothing. If you buy
60" and only need 12" after 10 minutes you just throw the rest away. At the
cost of this stuff, $14 and up at retail, you need to be sure that the
value of repairing only the item that you are 'saving' right now justifies
it and that it will work for sure on the type of repair that you are doing.
There seems to be some implication in the reviews that it only gives great
results on a wrapped repair where there is inherent pressure on the tape
while it's curing. I decided it probably wasn't appropriate for my
application and returned it before opening the envelope. I notice that a
previous 5 star reviewer holds that not knowing all of this just indicates
that if the buyer doesn't understand and hasn't properly researched the
product it's his fault. Well, if you buy it in a store there's nothing on
the package that indicates that it's a one-shot deal, and nothing on Amazon
that so indicates except the buyer reviews. So, here's the warning; know
what you need to do and whether the product can meet your needs. In this
case you may have to read between the lines as the product descriptions do
not tell you what you need to know. That doesn't mean that it's not a good
product even at its high price, just understand whether it will work for you
and whether the cost is justified before you buy. Caveat emptor. |
