Do you know what is behind every smiling face?
When we grow up, when we get more involved with this life, we start hurting
and getting hurt. We start wearing wounds and overlapping scars. We start
carrying more and more, the luggage became larger, and uglier. You thought
you can get rid of some, but most of them you will carry to the end. When we
were born, when we were so fresh and so new to this world, put all those
fairy tales aside, did anyone tell us that someday, we gonna have our own
carry-on?
Sometime I think, life is a consequence of a series of choices. One
consequence will be causing the other. Are there some kind of critical
points in your life, that will decide your life path; do you even realize
the existence of those when you reach them?
The life cycle is designed for everyone in the same way that we got only one
chance to make all kinds of choices. Time is going to one direction (
debatable?) for everybody and that seems to be the only absolute fairness we
can get out of it. I'm thinking, when people are old, when people are going
to step out the other end of this long tunnel, what would they think about
this luggage they carried all the way up to there, what would they think of
this entire thing?
Maybe at that point, when the self-recognition is gone, “I” is not “I”
anymore, nothing is important anymore. | u********e
