IT'S TIME TO PAY ATTENTION TO CHINA'S DEVELOPING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAWS

No mmatter where a patentable product is made or sold, Rob Ward tells clients
they should consider applying for patent and trademark protection in the
United States and China.

This one thing still bothers me. From an equitable perspective, for a
developing country like China, it should be allowed to use the Science and
Technology free of charge or at low cost, and at least for a while:) Otherwise
it will never catch up with the developed countries.
I guess China is obligated to do something to IP protection as a condition for
joining WTO. But there is a balance to be struck here. If foreign countries
just sit and collect fees for every new technol
