This letter is to inform you that you are currently on a list to be
forwarded to a collection agency and your account will be referred
to National Credit Systems.
我在图书管借了好多书，后来搬家的时候弄丢了，要赔几百块。可是现在是
自费读书，生活费都很紧张，没有钱pay给图书馆，所以收到这样的信。
他们要把我的资料给national credit system了，这是不是算我犯法了阿？
fbi会不会来找我？
以后是不是不能申请绿卡了？

发帖数: 295 | 2 I doubt it will have any effect on your GC application. Of course
your credit will be hurt if you don't pay the money promptly. I would
suggest you send them the money or the debt collecting agency will
keep bugging you:-). Believe me, I have such annoying experience
because of a $20 bill that I think I should not pay to the phone company.
Maybe another way is to cry to your library and see if they can give
you some deduction:P
