小第最近想跳槽,新雇主要我签一份NON-COMPETE AGREEEMENT. 意思是一年之内不能在
竞争对手处任职.我的理解是如果我辞职的话就要喝一年西北风.想找个律师给看看,实
在不行就只有不去了.但不知该找什么方面的律师.
能否指教?

Any corporate lawyer should be able to handle it.

发帖数: 1799 | 3 Thanks for your input, the company is actually in Tennessee.
I talked to a few employment law and labor law specialist. And have asked
the company to add a severance package to cover that one year when I would
be out of job because of this agreement if I am not discharged by cause.
But then here comes another problem. Even if they are willing to pay me
after laying me off. I would be out of status and probably unable to collect
any payment.

You can find job elsewhere and collect from your former employer if they let
you go. |
