something that says you can't be fired except for cause. But you may be
liable for any reliance damage and out-of pocket expense suffered by the
company in order to find a substitute.

发帖数: 71 | 4 Well, need to look at your offer letter and know where you are. Generally
speaking, employees are presumed to be employed at will. However, some
courts may imply an employment contract of a specified period from the
languages in your offer letter, e.g. "an annual salary of $65K" may be
construed as a promise to employ you for at least one year. Georgia and SD
even put this in the statute, but this is not a majority view.
Anyway, I think it's unlikley that they will go after you unless there was
