我的一个朋友，目前在美国做博士后，从事药物化学研究。他已经有两个PCT专利（向
欧洲专利局申请的）。想了解一下，如果在美国做专利代理人（他现在是学校H-1B身份
），是不是要绿卡？代理人资格考试，他能参加吗？如果可以的话，从那里可以搞到考
试资料？专利代理人在美国容易找到工作吗？待遇如何？工作压力是不是很大？还有，
专利律师的前（钱）景如何？
顺便再问一句，在中国，专利代理人的前（钱）景如何？

1. 不能参加考试，除非能搞到律所的雇佣证明。
2. 待遇还成，工作比较辛苦，boring
3. 压力较大，时间较长，收入一般般吧
4. 在中国，钱景一般，除非在涉外所做法律诉讼业务
5. 还是继续做新药吧，这个有前途 |

发帖数: 406 | 4 That's a new uspto rule. Only PR and citizen can take patent bar exam.
Otherwise you have to be affiliated with a law firm.
Even you pass the bar exam, if you are no longer employed by a law firm (ex.
quit job and go to a full time law program), your license will be
terminated. |
