registration for the Barbri course. If we register now, we can lock in this
year's rate and attend the course in or after 3L. I was told that the vast
majority of law students take the course. They also told us that by
registering now, we can get all sorts of first year exam review materials and
outlines. We can also get online and live review lectures for the first year
courses. I talked with a two L yesterday and he told |

helps.
but whether the barbri first year review materials or courses would be much
help is a tricky question. it depends on how your professors make his
questions. some think barbri stuff is rubbish and never give barbri-like
exams. some are not averse to using barbri style for exams. why don't you
just go to your professor to ask what materials might be helpful in
preparing for his/her exam. (most professors would advise |

发帖数: 6 | 3 I registered for Barbri my first year and got the 1L supplement. Basically,
it summarized the black letter law for you. However, I personally don't
think it is more helpful than reading the table of contents of the casebooks
in term of prep for the final exams. First of all, your prof is the master
of your universe, and he/she will decide what is the governing law in the
final and might expect your answers to reflect what cases/rules are
discussed in class. Reading study aids might confuse you i |

I had a good conversation with my tort professor this afternoon. It seems
that he is strongly against using the Barbri materials now. As you guys have
mentioned, the professor has his own realm of administering the exam.
I am just frustrated by the seemingly endless flexibility and overlapping
analysis in torts. Though it is getting better now. And my professor
encouraged me to take a wait-and-see approach. I guess the scientist in me
is still l |

Hang in there. It gets better when you become 2L. Almost all Chinese law
students I know are doing pretty well in law school.
