DC bar has its own exam, though not a lot of people take it.
Easy to waive in, if (1) ABA JD, (2) MBE more than 133, and (3) admitted in another state bar. Otherwise, waive in after 5-year practice in another state, e.g., LLM while admitted in NY.
For those who want to practice patent law and be a patent attorney, patent bar plus any state bar will be fine, because patent law is federal law. | H****3
