发帖数: 320 | 5 你说什么呢？associates带summers出去吃饭是firm掏钱好不好。 本来lunch是summers
和 associates认识的途径而已。 以前associates带summers 出去吃饭都没有限制的，
今年大部分firm都把budget卡的很死了，基本上是不鼓励associates 带summers出去吃
饭了。况且很多associates都很担心自己的工作，根本不敢多花firm的钱。 所以
summer program的气氛不怎么好。不一起出去吃饭，很难有机会认识不同practice
group 的attorneys.

partners are generally very busy and summers should not bother them too much
. My summer associate liaison seems to be pretty busy recently (good for
him, i think). I guess once he is done with his current deal, he may have
more time for me....

time for lunch, try a coffee break. if no time for coffee break, just drop
by to say hi. try to cultivate a relationship with both of them. it helps
more than you can imagine.

发帖数: 77 | 9 呵呵，主要原因还是忙吧，闲下来的话坐办公室也是坐着，不如用公司的钱出去吃饭喝
咖啡聊天。五月份很多人突然一下忙了起来，过去半年压下来的项目接二连三都活了过
来，所以不是所有人都能出去和实习生吃两三个小时的午饭。当然，和市场不景气可能
也有间接的关系，因为前半年如果没记够工分的话，现在好不容易有了活，更是要抓紧
补上，吃饭什么的就在办公室解决了。至于把实习生当作威胁的一说，倒是没太觉得。
想想自己当年夏天实习的时候，什么都不懂不会，等差不多琢磨明白怎么回事了，夏天
也结束了，偶尔加的几次班，和真正上班以后比起来实在不是一个数量级的，记的那几
个工分，也就是意思意思，实在构不成对任何人的威胁。 |

's a good sign. Capital market and M&A are definitely picking up right now.
