filling a domestic violence charge against the other party. two questions:
1. how long does this type of cases run? several months or a year?
2. does my friend need a lawyer also? can she get a free one?

发帖数: 496 | 2 It's a criminal charge. Your friend is not a party and has nothing to do
with it, although the DA would love to have her as an eye witness. The
timing can vary vastly from area to area, from court to court, ... But why
should your friend care about it? She just needs to take good care of
herself and leave that guy.
