发帖数: 503 | 1 其实也不算新人了，干了一年了，期间带我到attorney跳槽了，我换了现在这个
attorney。
这个人极其挑剔不说，关键是他总是重视形式的东西大于内容。比如讨论修改claim，
我把我想到的两个修改方案（就是要加的两个features）都列在claim里打出来，用笔
简单标了一下以示区分。因为我想重点还是跟他讨论一下技术内容，看看这两个方案那
个好。结果他一看就推一边说没法看，你得把两个options打在两张纸上，让他一目了
然。然后就开始长篇大论教育我，不professional啦，雇我是提供给他好的service的
，不能浪费他的时间，等等，等等。我虽然很气，但还是照做了，结果给他一看，他立
刻就说就第一个方案吧，然后我说要不要我再给你说说我这样改的理由。他好像嫌我刚
才耽误了时间似的，根本不想讨论，就把我打发了。
我跟以前的attorney就没有这种问题，他总是很认真的跟我讨论技术细节，比如我先找
出一些技术点，然后跟他谈是否可行。
我干的时间不长，我不知道这是因为我从技术出身，还没完全领悟这个法律行业的真谛
，还是这个attorney有问题。
在专利代理这个行业里，究竟什么才是最重要的。我现在的感觉就是大家都在那儿装，
而且重视一些表面外在的包装多过于实质性的内容。 |

Unfortunately an over-representative number of lawyers have a type A
personality. The fact that you've already met one seemingly quite relaxed
attorney (former mentor) only says that you are quite lucky.
There was a post last year with the same theme of complaining about how
picky the supervising attorney is. Both seem quite a reflection of the
current life of most tech advisors or patent agents. It also seems
advisable that, going forward, all current tech advisor or patent agents
share more of their real thoughts on their work and life style with anyone
seeking career advice here. |

and have no time to train you. You're lucky if you get a mentor type that's
willing to spoon feed you. In most cases, however, you're expected to be on
your own. You will make many mistakes, and you learn from them. You are
not in school any more. |

This is is usually the trick playing on little kids. Is he or she trying to
mock you by saying you are so incompetent as a 5 year old kid??? And i don't
think you should feel funny, it is an obvious sarcastic mocking.
I would suggest you stay the hell away from him or her, to be honest lots of
good lawyers are smart assholes, they treat people so disrespectfully while
some of themselves have some deep psychology problems.
