regarding the category of scientific and technical training for the
admission to USPTO. I have a BS in Veterinary Medicine and MS in Veterinary
Internal Medicine from China and A PHD in Physiology from US. Which
category (A, B or C) should I register? I carefully looked at the GRB but am
confused with my eligibility for the Exam. Under Category B, I do not have
enough semester hour for any 4 options listed. I have solid scientific
training in biology and biochemistry with all the degrees I have obtained.
Can I register Category A then?
I hope to send out my application soon and take the Exam. Any suggestions
and advice for solving my issue are appreciated. Thanks ahead. | L**P 发帖数: 3792 | 2 Is "Veterinary Medicine" listed in the A list? If not, I predict that USPTO
will reject your choice of A and will require you to apply under B or C. You
will need to provide (1) certification of the equivilency of your degree to
a US degree and (2) course describtions (if not in English, a certified
translation is necessary). In old times, you can translate and certify
yourself. Now, USPTO seems to require certified third-party to do the
translation.
