所谓万事开头难，开始浏览IP Firm的career website，发现opening很少，而且分类比
较模糊，想向前辈们请教一下。
感觉有些firm直接就有technical advisor program，有些把specialist归在
professional staff里面，还有些归类在laterals里面，请问下有什么区别吗？
如果申请的话，是不是无论有没有opening贴出来都可以把简历直接发给recruiting
contact？对简历的格式和长短有没有什么要求和范例呢？
另外一个问题，考lsat和patent bar对找specialist职位有帮助吗？

a girl who got a paralegal job in zynga after she got her esq. and got a
disclaimer that the
position would never turn into a lawyer's position. one year after she got
in, zynga had a new vp and that vp started the legal department of zynga.
she became a senior attorney there suddenly.
another half a year later, zynga went ipo. you never know what is lying in
front of you and nobody will serve you with a silver plate. you need to set
foot into the
industry first and start low. always be prepared, be aggressive, and be
persuasive, that is what you will be trained for and what you are supposed
to be.
