很生动。最近开始看Bosch系列的头两本，black echo,black ice, 果然名不虚传，只
是我觉得作者笔下的Bosch真的能在警局混下去吗？
作者笔下的Bosch完全不服从领导，也不会跟同事搞关系，几句话就能把partner得罪了
，好在作者笔下的搭档心胸都很开阔。这么一个刺头侦探，其实也不是什么神探，优点
就是愿意没日没夜干活脑子还算够用，当然他没家没口社会关系简单到零。我觉得在现
实生
活中，这么一个情商为零的侦探早给排挤到地下室打杂去了。作者每本书里都把Bosch
卷入警局的政

I've been reading the Bosch series out of order and recently decided to go
back and read everything from the beginning. 这人在做和我一样的事情
In The Black Ice, Bosch doesn't quite seem like the same man I read about in
Black Echo or in later books. This story, at best, was boring and really
didn't make sense. At the end Connelly just admits he has no idea why our
corrupt cop turned. I'm sorry but this such a cop out. Plus-from the get go,
I thought the cop crossed but then in the middle it was like some epiphany.
I thought I miss something. Plus, the folder the cop made for Bosch didn't
make sense. It's like Connelly started something that he later changed his
mind on. There were a lot of holes and things that didn't make sense.
Plus, am I to really believe all of this took place in a week? Going to the
dry cleaners, the bank, and the grocery store takes all day for me, but
Bosch can get what takes a normal cop months to do in a mere day. 嗯，我说了
Bosch可以没日没夜干活
Plus, Bosch was a man-ho, sleeping with two different women within days a
part. Who does he think he is: A NBA star? Since when did cops get so much
booty? 嗯，每本书都会来段床戏，虽然Bosch看不出有任何女人缘，估计是编辑要求的
Okay, I'm nick-picking now. Over all, this wasn't a very good book.

Harry Bosch is a disgusting character. He chain smokes. He doesn't shave
regularly. He guzzles beer, spilling it down his chin. He is `wiry' and
wears cheap, crumpled clothing. He sweats profusely. He talks back; he is
insolent, egotistical, and rude. And yet, somehow, beautiful women fall for
him. He treats them like trash, and yet he sleeps with 2 gorgeous women in
the span of only a few days. Yuck! I cannot imagine getting close enough to
him to even think about kissing him, let alone being carnal with him! Blech!
Because Harry is so disgusting, I cannot bring myself to feel empathy for
him or to cheer him on.
Harry Bosch is an implausible character. He is an LAPD detective who somehow
is allowed to break all kinds of rules and continue working on the force.
He is a vigilante and insubordinate. He fails to follow direct orders and
yet he still has a job? Also, where did he get so much money that he can
throw around willy nilly going to bull fights and such?
Harry Bosch has double standards. SPOILER ALERT: In the previous book, Harry
stood up for the law rather than justice, coercing another character to
turn herself in after breaking the law. However, in this book, Harry breaks
the law and covers it up.
Finally, why in the world do all the characters speak without using any
contractions? The language does not breed believability.
