without knowing
or even caring
whether there was a net
to appear
i lept
with the full faith
that it was the right thing to do
even though it didn't make any sense on paper
or to the rational mind
i lept
feeling the rational mind
was not so rational
to the intelligence
of the heart
i lept
understanding that there is but one choice
to make
in each moment:
honor the soul
and for nothing or no one else
I lept
and God has always met me
in the dance.

前几个礼拜，应邀参加了一个“Reading Party”。朋友参加了一个Creative Writing的
workshop，那个晚上，他们十几个同学，每人朗读自己的作品，限时十分钟。我有事只
听了上半个program，五个人，所幸朋友是第二个。
第三位，是一个黑衣的女人。别人都是拿着打印好的纸，她就捧着一本笔记本之类的。
坐下，打开，开读。三首诗，都是有关孩子，和母亲。读完，她起身走回原座。我也起
身，走到她那里，拥抱她，感谢她。她是五个人中，最没有“表演”痕迹的一个，但是
，打动我最深。
最后一位，讲述了她父亲生命的最后72小时。读完后，老师宣布课间休息。我对着朋友
大哭。
今早，朋友转来这首没有无题诗。非常喜欢，很禅。
