I wasn't very impressed, maybe because I had been running
kde 4.2 from the kde.org repo for a while.
Also I had a couple hours of "post-upgrade struggling" getting my
marble mouse working again. So I guess you could say I
was even a bit pissed.

After playing around the kubuntu 8.10 for a few days a while ago, I wouldn't
touch KDE given a 10 feet pole...

9.04 comes with kde 4.2 and a bunch of overhauled apps, e.g. amarok.
plasma still gets cranky occasionally, but in general it's a lot better
than the 8.10 version.

more problem I have w/ 9.04:
gnome network manager keep disconnecting my school wireless network, so i
have to use wicd, which means I have to spend another hour to fix the wifi
blinking problem on my laptop

I don't always recommend ML. This is a good one.
