助，希望能真正了解LINUX。
问题一 还是双显的问题，以前贴过了。
DEBIAN 版本50 LENNY
板载INTEL显卡，Intel GMA X4500
主显示器 LCD 1280 1024 VGA
附显示器 HPLCD VIZIO 1366 x 768 HDMI
开机到进入XWINDOWS之前，电视能与显示器同时显示，进入XWINDOWS之后电视不再显示
任何信息。尝试使用XRANDR，能控制LCD显示器，但是无法控制电视。
再次求肋。
其实我应该问个最基本的问题，很想知道在LINUX下如何了解驱动的安装情况。 |

really feel if I want to know a little about linux I should learn from
Debian rather than Ubuntu which is too easy. But Ubuntu is really a good
choice for the people who do not like windows and do not want waste time on
OP.

我试着make新的xrong过，可是新的内核启动不了。

双显不可能实现，因为intel很多显卡驱动只支持最大2500
不知道x4500有没有此限制，否则双显不应当有问题的。

但查了xorg.conf只有下面一点不一样。
SubSection "Display"
Virtual 2303 768
EndSubSection
而平行显示是这样的
Virtual 2048 768
如果没记错的话，双显时tv的分辨率是1028x720
1028+1280#2303
再有为什么和以前见过的不一样？没有设不同显示器的段落，只有Virtual

it's just the driver in Xorg server.
building Xorg is 10 times harder than compiling the kernel.

Could somebody tell me is it right or not? The problem for me is after I
built the Kernel and reboot, the computer has been frozen just after load
the system, long before the X server.
I will post more information about where it stop later.

do you compile linux kernel?
X is 10 times harder to compile and install....
