(by my subjective judgement) there is a lot of distinction in the definition
of the PB that we are discussing here, and the PB definition that was
historically adopted in the western text. I think we rather superficially
tranplanted this definition and arbitrarily suited it for our use of
the description of a class of people in a pre-industrial (rather than
post-modern) society.
