Fog takes him from sight
Lonely road curves, then pure white
Tears freeze on the eave
Burning wood crackles
Vapor dances on my tea
Winter chill shrouds me
How I envy you
Chirping parrots; I'm a bird
Alone in the cold
O ye frozen hills
Kindly do pledge: Bring him back
When the prairie blooms
The void in my heart
I'll seal with snow, till his kiss
Makes me whole again |
