rate was the only driver for the housing boom. Most people who bought their
houses during the period bought the house to live, not to rent or to flip.
So, most of them applied fixed rate mortgages (15y or 30y). With fixed
mortgages, you will be immune to the anticipated rising interest rate. So,
no panic for the majority people in the housing market. |
