我們還在埋怨inpecter沒注意呢?
以前住的浴室都有窗, 幾乎從來不用fan, 可是不知為何這個有窗浴室特別濕, 每次洗
過澡都淚流滿面...

大。你们可以定期检查exhaust出口上方的木板有没有长mold，或者attic里面Moisture
的情况，如果一直比较干燥，也没有什么东西生长，就没有必要加extension到roof。
如果moisture变厉害了，再延长到roof上预留的口也可以。

現在是拆也不是, 不拆也不是...

But again, it's just a restroom. It's supposed to be some pleasant breeze.
You don't need huge sucking power there, unless ... you are making Chinese
food there, are you?

Beyond Zone 6, you don't want to try that. Even if the attic is well vented,
the damp air will freeze once vented to attic.
And if the air is hot enough, and there is snow cover on your roof, you will
have ice dam, tearing up your roof shingles : )
While we are on attic condensation, I wanna use this opportunity to advise
against central humidifier in Zone 6- again ( why do we say "again"?) Unless
you are 200% sure there is not air leaking out (well, air always finds its
