As long as it's < 100,000 per person per tax year, you don't have to do
anything, no tax, when it's over 100,000, you just need to fill out a tax
form, seems no tax still
Now if you want to transfer more than 100,000 now, it's a good idea to do it
now before the new year so you are using this year's quota.
This are official information on IRS, but most people don't really care.
