发帖数: 142 | 1 昨晚两点，睡梦中，一阵Alarm传来，以为是闹钟，伸手关闹钟，ld说不是是房子里的
Alarm.原来是smoke detector的，每个房间的都在响，包括走廊的，五六个一起声音像
要冲破耳鼓。
浑身打个激灵，ld察看了里里外外连loft也看了，没火没烟。心里很不踏实，打了911
。很快救火车来了。察看了一番，没发现问题。换了smoke detector的电池，好了。可
是那些Alarm响的时候家里原屋主安装的Alarm System也开始报警了。那个door chime
on/off怎么也转换不了，试着拔电源去电池也不见效。现在每次出入开门关门，警报都
要响5分钟。
版上达人能否指点如何消除警报，今天要是搞不定，那个声音真是搞得人的神经也快崩
溃了。

Mine requires a password. The previous owner of my house wrote it on the
manual and it took me 5 minutes to figure that out.

如果一个没电了可能大家一起报警 |

发帖数: 8042 | 4 一个没电了不会一起报警，否则你就不知道改换那个的电池了。一起响到是真的，这个
也是code要求
的，我们city的firehouse来检查的时候就是在一楼喷一下一个detector，然后满屋子
到处去听。要
有一个不响就通不过city的inspection。

called the company and were told that we should download it from the
internet, now i am reading the manual, hopefully it will be OK by tonight.
Crazy night....
