What it meant was that SUNTORY blue rose APPLAUSE™ サントリー ブル
ー ローズ アプローズ has the same Katakana 片仮名 (used for imported loan
words) for "rose" and the last two letters of "applause."
The Japanese pronunciation for
(a) rose 薔薇 【ばら】 (English pronunciation: "bara")
and (b) 喝采 【かっさい】 (English pronunciation: "kassai")
can not form the basis of the above statement.
