About four month ago, my loan: $280K, rate: 5.125, 30-year fixed
He told me, now I can get 30-year fixed rate 4.500
Is it good or not?

发帖数: 9308 | 3 Sounds like you need to pay closing cost. If no cost, the best rate you can
get is 4.625%. It is 0.5% reduction from your current rate, and it is well
worth doing it.

him.

BTW, I heard some opinion like that the previous 4 month payments (mostly
interests) would be wasted.
Is there any formula to calculate if saving or not?
