个大项目谈了
价格
刚开始两天就要价钱, 修地板， $700, 为了避免问题答应了,
现在两个bathroom有些问题，比如淋浴头没装对, backflash有没打胶的，还有一个浴
缸有一角
容易积水，一天都干不了，坚持是产品问题，还说预先知道告诉我也没法解决
油漆感觉是受骗, 说好ceiling和墙面全部打texture的，只是ceiling做到了，墙面就
直接刷
漆，理由是我的价钱低，要+$3000才做到，
过程中同时接了其他项目，老找不到，请个老莫油漆工，什么都不管就喷，我赶紧自己
在晚上把能卸
的卸掉， 新的排风扇里面都是灰跟油漆，还有马桶开关，closet地面都被喷了，
发现早的提到了当面承认后面也不改，
现在剩下：
tub门，房间和garage的门，发现的好些问题，hall way的油漆要求修，很多都是刀痕

些问题他就不高兴，说是还要拿单项出来收钱，

我想有经验了自己当contractor找人来做， 你还可以比他们老板pay多点，双方都

这样可以估计他们收费是否合理。
有颜色的墙至少两层漆才能盖住。修裂缝等一般要加钱。 | d*****s

这么点钱，谁认真帮你做？并且油漆是个人都会做，他自然会低价外包出去，他自己做
别人做不了的活，这个是经济规律。 我遇到的contractor，没有一个不外包的，关键
是外包的质量如何，这个说实话，他自己也不知道，经验越多的，当然质量就越好。
浴室如果是修，就要不了多少钱，估计也不会认真给你做。
老中装修最适合就是重新做，这样价钱上去了，一些小活他就帮你顺手做了。如果是重
新装修，他没有做好，那确实是水平不够。你在开始找contractor之前，要好好看看他
以前的装修，然后私下找以前的房主问问。
有合同也没有用，到时候你即使打小额法庭官司，他输了，你也没有办法拿到钱，因为
他的银行账户都空了，法庭也不会派人帮你去拿钱。 | d*********1

2.也不是说签了合同就万事大吉, 就象前面说的那样,即使告到法庭,你赢了也难拿回钱
来, 他们最怕的是名声,所以你一开始就暗示,你有很广的联系,要没做好对他们以后日
子难过. 特别是中国人,圈子这么小,一臭就没饭吃了.
3.不知道你在那个州,你要麻州的话,看看这些装修的,看看他们是不是? 别惹那些上黑
名单的.

about
~$4k, 2 bath room
remodel about $8K,
I compared with several LAOZHONG, this price is highest, I want to find
someone I can trust, so ...
I already paid 10K, it's like a trap, like initially the agreement
is do texture for ceiling and wall, later on ask +$3000 more for
texture.
There are two additional project added later on, replace door (no
paint), each $100, install lamp each $100(some re-wired),
Total labor only ~$14k, | M******9

），我们出油漆费。看他忙我也帮着刷。油漆费不贵（总共~$200）。
我问他Texture大概每个房间$300.
墨西哥人刷单色漆但不补缝也是每个房间$100，包油漆。还可以讲价。

But Chinese contractor don't like signing contract. I met a same chinese
contractor recently, he told me he could repair the A/C in several days and
still he didn't work on it.
I hired a Mexican contractor before. he is so fast and handy. he finish the
remodeling in three days with good quality and we signed a contract and I
pay him exactly the price on the contract.
You could find American and Mexican contractors in Criaglist or local
newspaper. I f

I paid $7000 for painting whole house, two bathroom remodeling, kitchen
remoedling with granite counter and etc.. So they alredy overcharge you a
lot. I couldn't believe they charge you $14k for labor.
Reading your story make me think my another experience one more time. I
hired a mexican guy who looks very nice and he is the worst person and
greediest person I have met. I called him everyday for the progress of the
work and he always told me he is sick, | M******9

this contractor has no licence. Later on I got know he hired a Mexican for
painting for $80/day, which is the lowest pay in CA. This project took about
1 month and I think he had 2~3 project at same time. | s********8
发帖数: 264 | 14 I had similar experience before. I terminated contractor midway, paid him
what he asked for for the work he has done, and re-hired someone else to
finish the work.
I thought of pay him less since he has done a really poor job, but since he
knows my address, i don't want to cause trouble for future. it's just a
few thousands dollar, pay him to buy peace. and it's a good lesson learned,
that never hire people like him again. | t***r

to deal with it in American way. Its illegal in CA to contract work more
than $500 without a license. go to http://www.cslb.ca.gov for more information:

我也remodel过两个卫生间，全部敲掉重做，
包括水电，半截墙壁贴瓷砖，到最后的油漆，
工钱才3K，还是因为旧的墙壁有点类似钢筋
水泥太难砸，加的500(事先说好的)
