是，如果去外州 没有亲戚朋友，只能租apartment，我看一般lease都是一年吧，可是我
想最多半年内买房 最好３个月内 那怎么办呢？似乎break lease要交至少２个月房
租，有点划不来啊。。以前没买过房子 有可能２个月内马上找到房子么？ 那样的话
，可以考虑住旅馆。有类似情况的同学么？？麻烦指点拉 有木有两全其美的办法呢 |

Originally, I want to fly to the new state a couple of times to buy a house
before moving to that state. But it seems better to move there first to give
you more time. I think 2 months should be enough time. You can get an
apartment with month-to-month lease. But these may be a little bit more
expensive.
Another option I am considering is to continue rent my current place and
just try to buy a house by living in a temporary place in the new state.
Once the house closes, move from the old state to the new state. This way, I
do not have to move twice (first into an apt then from the apt to the new
house). Sigh, no easy solution.
Question: Suppose I want to close on a house in mid-July. How far in
advance do I have to go see houses and make offers. My loans should be
approved quickly without issues. I will travel to the city and stay there
for a week to look at houses and do that a couple of times if needed. Does
that sound reasonable? I checked the online listings and have a pretty good
idea about which houses I want to see and potentially buy. |

you can try to find a short term, 6 month lease. you can find somebody to
take over your lease. you can talk to the landlord and resolve the lease
issue. worst come to worst you can pay the fine to break the lease.
put your time and energy on planning the move, shopping for a house etc. |
