that the rate keeps moving higher. Today is 5% and it is unlikely that we
can lock a rate lower than 4.875% in the next couple of weeks. Is that true? |

own.
truth is mkt moves randomly in the short run. longer term, interest "should
" go higher due to 1. recovery in economy; 2. inflation (don't trust
government's statistics--they don't count food and energy price increase); 3
. interest rate is near 0--so only way is up.
for purchase loan in CA, best rate is ~4.75%--no pt but buyer pays fees;
refi ~5%--no pt no fee.

告别了4.75%，还没有超过4.875%。今天小幅回落，虽然尚未达到4.75%。:( |
