Shall closing and getting home key happen on the same day?
My realtor told me that I may not able to get the key after closing on the
same day because of delayed recording of the seller's part.
Is this reasonable?
If anything happened between I sign all the closing document and I get the
key, who should take the responsibility?

发帖数: 3244 | 2 a typical transaction ended when all the docs being recorded at county
recording office and the recording number has been obtained. your ownership
starts after 9pm on that same day in most states. if somehow your closing
officer couldn't get it recorded before the recording office closed for the
day (may due to last minus change or too many files send in on that day etc)
, the closing date will be delayed. your agent may just telling you that.
if that is what going to happen, your escrow will inform you and the seller.
