I have been trying to do some work myself, and this board gave me a lot
great tips!
Today I just closed a condo in 2nd floor, upon uncovering the dirty carpet(I
intended to replace it with laminate flooring), I found there is a crack
between the living and dining room, it went through the wall, and measures
around 5 mm in the widest part.
It might be constructuing issues, the HOA advised me to consult through a
contractor, if it matters--my concern is in case water may leak into the 1st
floor's ceiling.
It seems the cracks were caused by the tention of the concrete, since you
could tell a beam from out side of the condo, going through the area with
the cracks...
Anybody has experience on how to fix it? If the HOA is not going to help in
repair it? Just seal it?
Your comments are appreciated much!!! |
