发帖数: 224 | 1 We bought cabinet from and was cheated. Here is what happened:
We are using Contractor Mr. Fang Weibin to remodel kitchen and bathroom. On
the estimate sheet Mr. Fang gave us, the estimate of Cabinet is $3360 for 21
cabinets ( $160 per cabinet)but we decided to buy material ouself. He said
he could go with us to Chinese cabinet store so we can get contractor
discount. He took us to Pius Kitchen & Bath on Saturday. Then the worst
things happend.
1. We were cheated on the price.价格欺骗，不同的销售人员给不同的折扣。我们得
到了20%的折扣，Ako说这是给装修公司的折扣价格。可是后来我打电话却被不同的人告
知我们可以得到25%的折扣，在此之上装修公司还可以得到更多的折扣。We talked to
sales associate Ako in the store. At my request, Ako changed the discount
from 15% to 20% saying that includes the contractor discount. We ended up
paying $206 per cabinet. Because kids were hungary and needs to buy food, I
paid the full amount and left.
That night I felt something strange as Mr. Fang estimates at $160 per
cabinet while we paid about 30% more than that. Coincidently I received
quote from another contractor that night and from his quote I calcualted the
cabinet is no more than $160 each piece.
So the next day I called the store and asked the price for 33' lazy susan.
The associate Cathy gave me a quote 20% less than Ako's before discount
price. She told me customer has 20% discount and contractor will get extra
discount on top of that.
The thrid day I called and the asscoiate Yan told me a even lower price
saying that's because customer can enjoy 25% discount and contractor can get
extra discount on top of that.
So I went to G.S. cabinet to get a quote with the same oak shaker cabinet
and same granite countertops. Their quote is $800 less than Pius.
Later I talked to Mr. Fang and he told me contractor normally get 10% extra
discount. So with Fang's help, Pius finally agreed to give me some money
back ( less than 10%).
That's just start of a bad dream!
2. Cabinet delivered had very bad quality 方先生帮我们提的货，我们得到的柜
子质量非常差。有很多的黑Knots，更不用提颜色也不一致 。柜子的尺寸也搞错了。厨
房的开门和厕所的抽屉却没有自动关门的功能。
1) Cabinet had bad quality and had a lot of black knots, not to mention
the color variation;
2) The 12' pantry cabinet was delivered in the wrong size.
3) The cabinet in bathroom & pantry door in kitchen don't have the auto
close function ( so no big noise when closing it). I called them today. Ako
answered the phone。 He said that's by design. Later he said because we got
refund.I called the lady owner. She said the same thing. Because of my
previous experincem,I don't 100% believe in them that's by design but will
go there to check around 7/4 and will post updated information once it is
done.
Just to warn you: be careful if you go to Pius. The sales associate called
Steve in G.S. is much more honest than Pius associates. |
