2. Place your cell phone inside your microwave.
3. dial your cell phone from home phone or other cell phone.
4. If your cell phone inside microwave rings, there is leak.
I just tested with my <1 year microwave and the cell phone did ring. I
wonder how reliable this method is. | c***r 发帖数: 202 | | H******7 发帖数: 34403 | 3 Some web sites recommend using a cell phone to test a microwave oven for
radiation leakage. You are supposed to put your cell phone in the oven and
try to call it. If it rings, it is supposed to indicate a leak. However,
this method is wrong because cell phones operate at different frequencies
than microwave ovens. Even if the cell phone rings in the oven, this does
not indicate a leak, so it is nothing to worry about. Protection against
microwave leakage in microwave ovens is specifically tuned to the frequency
of the microwaves (2.4 GHz) and is not expected to prevent other frequencies
to get through (cell phone frequences are in the 800 to 1900 MHz range). | c**********r 发帖数: 109 | 4 this sounds making sense

不过还得看手机信号是不是满格
要是拿iphone 4来测试,估计统统合格
