I am about to buy a new house and thinking to install a new bathroom. Just
talk to a contractor. He told me that it would take at least 1 to 2 weeks to
apply for the permit and the installation fee will be doubled compared with
no permit.
Can anybody tell the pros and cons of applying the permit? Thanks in advance. | r*****s
发帖数: 892 | 2 Bathroom...you probably can't sell the house without a permit. If you have
time, you can apply the permit and pay the fee yourself, it won't be double.

I searched from the website. It sounds that I need to apply for the permit
using the contractor's license No. The contractor mentioned the fee for the
permit is not much, bur he needs to charge double price because large part
of the money is taken by the electrician.
